Donmouth, Aberdeen

Aberdeen was once referred to as the Silver City with the Golden sands. This area of Aberdeen Beach lies to the far left where the River Don forms an Estuary into the sea. The area is now a designated Nature reserve, home to birds and wildlife. Seals can often be found lurking near the rocks.

From here you can walk to the Brig O’ Balgownie or Footdee at the other end of the Beach.
